On August 14th, 2014 Chanson Calhoun launched her independent music career with a concert at HARD ROCK LOUISVILLE. She is now the first African American female local artist to headline a show at Hard Rock Louisville.

 

Since this thrilling concert, the songstress has managed to : build a powerful network in Derby City,  become a top 5 finalist in 2015 Hard Rock Rising Barcelona, where herself and 3 band mates travelled to Spain to perform for a live audience and Ms. Calhoun had also became the winner of 2017 Kentuckiana Idol and won the opportunity to travel to Savannah, Georgia to audition for American Idol.

 

On August 14th 2020, she became the CEO/founder of Enchanted Boutique and Creative Space. This creative Mecca is something for artists to have access to, for putting on shows and selling their merchandise, as well as a whole list of other services.

​Ms. Calhoun will be headlining a groundbreaking concert titled “THE REBIRTH” on AUGUST 4th 2023 at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.
